Where and What to Eat
City Lunch: People’s Organic
What's for lunch? Our editor's pick of where to eat on your lunch break.
Counter service, seats in the area, plus the entire crystal court if you want.
Deets: In truth, while I try to eat better at lunchtime, it’s often more about what’s on the way or what’s a quick grab so I can get back to the deadlines. Oftentimes this ends in sad attempts at salad bars or nasty wraps. But now that I’ve found People’s Organic in the IDS, I feel I have a new option. There’s an awesome selection of egg dishes (the perfect protein!) alongside worthy salads and giant wraps in sprouted tortilla. I’ve particularly enjoyed a hot ham and cheese sandwich with Fisher Farms ham and Gruyere which was hearty, melty, and hit the spot (regardless of whether you’d consider it healthy or not).
