Is there room on meat-centric Hennepin Avenue for Marin?

Marin Restaurant and Bar. Is there room on meat-centric Hennepin Avenue for Marin? Buffeted by Butcher & The Boar and The Capital Grille, it might just find a niche as the new fresh-faced and farmy restaurant in the Chambers Hotel. The space has been given a full remodel by Shea, delivering a warm and welcoming copper bar and dining room pizza oven to combat the formerly stark and modern reputation. The food aims for healthy yet contemporary preparations, listing calorie and nutritional counts alongside each dish like sister restaurant Mill Valley Kitchen does. The new outdoor bar carries more than 50 labels of gin, and the downstairs has been redesigned as a library lounge.

“Gin” is derived from the Dutch jenever or the French genievre meaning “juniper,” the primary botanical that flavors the spirit.
