Glam Doll Donuts

Eat Street’s new sweet spot serves up donuts that taste as good as they look.

Glam Doll Donuts

It’s just the kind of shop that would come out of a ladies’ road-trip brainstorming session, which is exactly when Arwyn Birch and Teresa Fox came up with the idea for Glam Doll Donuts. The little shop on Eat Street is all kinds of charming, from its vintage furnishings to the beauties in the case with pinup-girl names. From sassy to classic, the donuts here run all day, even into the wee hours when the warmer weather might induce those from nearby Icehouse or Eat Street Social to walk over for a little late-night treat. Those seeking adventure might try the Chart Topper with peanut butter and Sriracha or the savory Girl Next Door filled with cheese. The foodists will lean toward Misfit’s orangey-ginger glaze or Calendar Girls’ salty caramel. And classicists should run to Femme Fatale’s fresh raspberry curd filling, which is all manner of joyous confection and airy infatuation, so marked by the heart atop it. 2605 Nicollet Ave., Mpls., 612-345-7064,
