Experience Saint Thomas Academy for yourself! The best way to determine if STA is right for you is to participate in our “Shadow Program” – visit our campus and meet our students and faculty. Schedule a visit!
Our new Flynn Hall features a spacious Fine Arts Suite, including computer graphics, ceramics, paint and print, band, and choir. Flynn Hall is also home to gyms, a wrestling room, fitness center, and multiple other classrooms.
The Experimental Vehicle Team has won numerous national awards. The team was created in 1998 to provide budding engineers with real-life, problem-solving activities. Students are pushed to realize that science is not always easy and may not work the first time.
Saint Thomas Academy and our sister school, Visitation, have a joint theatre company. The 2014 production of Shrek! won multiple Spotlight Musical Theatre Program awards, including Outstanding Overall Production and Overall Performance, and seven individual acting awards.
We guide our students to be servant leaders in the community. Students participate in food drives, gift drives, an annual service trip to Guatemala, and monthly visits to Feed My Starving Children, in addition to the Senior Service Program.
Student participation in co-curricular athletics and activities translates to benefits in the classroom. Multiple athletic programs are available for all grades. More than 30 other activities, including band, quiz bowl, orienteering, debate, and chess round out a student’s education.
Of the many events hosted throughout the school year, Grandparents’ Day is the most popular. Proud students welcome grandparents to campus for Mass, photos, and a formal review of the high school cadets in the stadium.
Saint Thomas Academy provides a supportive environment for your son’s passage to manhood. Boys-only classes, uniforms, and personal attention from faculty and staff put the focus on learning and personal development. With approximately 650 students in grades 7-12, STA is small enough so no student gets lost in the mix, but large enough to offer an enriched curriculum – including, 19 AP and college credit courses, multiple math and science sequences, four world language options, theology, leadership, and numerous fine arts choices – and more than 40 co-curricular athletics and activities for many interests.
