  • Lakeside Chef’s Kitchen
Situated on a Twin Cities Lake, this home’s challenge was to transform a kitchen, living area and 3-season porch. Two existing walls were eliminated, opening up the kitchen to the spectacular view. By reconfiguring the space, a breathtaking open plan environment where family can congregate, cook and relax together was created. Beautiful finishes, custom cabinetry and restaurant quality appliances have enhanced this kitchen from a dark, confined, 1970’s kitchen to a light and open showplace.
  • Elegantly Aging in Place
This bathroom, designed for clients planning to age-in-place rather than downsize in their golden years, is elegantly appointed and has features to aid in daily activities as the client’s mobility decreases. Design features such as a roll-in shower, a flush threshold, ample lighting, and lever door handles are design elements that keep this beauty of a bathroom a highly functional space for the future.
  • Airy Entrance
Part of an addition, this hallway is an airy passage to a completely remodeled home. The clients, avid collectors of vintage art and antiques desired an open and airy floor plan with timeless high-end finishes that will mesh well with their passion for collecting.
  • Modernized Living Space
This space transformed from a 1950’s rambler that was divided up into four little rooms to an open plan kitchen/living space. Designed for a family with small children, the layout, finishes and zones were created to ensure a family friendly space for all ages.
  • Sleek Dining Space
Formerly an elevated platform enclosed with a wrought-iron railing, the space was reconfigured in this combined dining and living space into a spacious, sleek environment with built in storage. A unique light fixture, paired with timeless dining chairs and table and the homeowner’s art provides a vibrant space for a young family.
  • From Builder Basic to Wow
Brought in to help select finishes on a new home construction project, we worked with the limited builder approved finishes to create a unique approach to the color story and tile layout. It ensures that this house will still be unique within a new upscale housing development.
  • Tiled Transformation
This bathroom, built in a 100 year old home became a refreshing bath oasis with design elements reminiscent to the original style of the home, while still remaining fresh and modern.
  • Streamlined Shower
Through the use of the hinged glass door, this tub/shower combination remains light and bright, despite the slanted ceiling which encloses the space. The glass door also eliminates the need for a shower curtain, keeping the room feeling open and light.
  • Relaxed yet Refined
This attractive space was designed for a growing family and entertaining. Attention and detail to color, seating arrangements, lighting and natural lighting are part of what makes this room so special. The room is elegant while still being warm and welcoming.
  • The Story Teller
This living room was transformed from a traditional 1960’s rambler to a room that tells the story of its inhabitants. The clients, a couple of well-traveled academics, needed a modernized space that would feature their eclectic collection of folk art, vintage pieces and new elements, which created a curated look. Designed for the couple to age-in-place, furniture and finish selections were made based on age and mobility factors.
