Barbie Dreamhouse Experience @ MOA
Saturday and Sunday
Mall of America’s Barbie Dreamhouse Experience opened this week, and it’s glorious. But don’t take our word for it. Just read 7-year-old Iris’s review. General admission is $23.99, senior admission is $16.99, and kids 2 years and younger are free.
A Scottish Ramble @ Landmark Center
Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Because nothing’s cooler than kilts in February. Ha! Ha! Literally. There will be Scottish singing, professional storytelling, Highland dancing, and more. $6 for adults, and $4 for seniors and children 12 years and younger.
The Venture Bank Minnesota Golf Show @ the Minneapolis Convention Center
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Though it seems improbable that we'll do anything as warm and green as golf again. Still, The First Tee is hosting a free kids clinic on Saturday morning. A kid can dream, right?
PLUS: Our President's Day picks (if you are fortunate enough to have the day off):
• The Minnesota History Center. It will be open on Monday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and President Abraham Lincoln (or rather, an actor that play him) will be there from 1 pm. - 2:30 p.m. Look for him in the "Then Now Wow" exhibit.
• Zero Gravity in Mounds View will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Your kids can beat the snot out of each other in trampoline dodgeball while you surf the Internet. They have WiFi, yo.
