Fit to Get Hitched

I’m a huge advocate for taking a honeymoon immediately after the wedding. I’m not saying that you have to do it like they do in the movies—have a big send off at the end of the reception and immediately hop on a plane, but I think you should leave within a couple days after the wedding. It seems that more and more people are waiting to take their honeymoons until later. I feel like that is just a vacation then. So even if it is just a road trip up north or staying at a hotel for a few days, I think you need that time together after the wedding: Time to relax, enjoy each other, reminisce about the wedding, and just have a few days before you have to go back to the reality of work and life. I can’t imagine going back to work Monday morning after the wedding. I need a few days to go be Mr. and Mrs.
Ideally, I want to go somewhere warm with a beach and a swim up bar. I want an all-inclusive where my biggest decision is which beachside restaurant to have lunch at. I want to be able to relax on the beach and just be married.
