If you are a baby or toddler in need of a new tutu, blankie, unique outfit, or just a Fantastical Fox Mask, then Oh Baby! is your store. And now it might be even closer to you. (Word to your mothers and fathers: It’s time to break out the stroller.)
Since opening its first shop in 1994, Oh Baby! has been stylin’ the cutest handcrafted-in-Minnesota baby and toddler duds in town. The store has operated in Galleria for years, but added a second shop in Wayzata that closed its doors when years of construction began in the lakefront shopping district. Store CEO and head designer Mary Lauer says it was the end of that construction that brought a second Oh Baby! location back to Wayzata.
"We waited for the road work and majority of construction to be completed, and then found the ideal space to renovate and show a fresh new look. I can't wait to reveal my personal aesthetic in my own general contracted space," Lauer says.
You can visit Oh Baby! in downtown Wayzata at 757 Lake Street East when it opens the first week in September. It’s also just down the street from the new COV Wayzata restaurant, which has some incredibly satisfying chicken tenders, according to 2-and-a-half-year-old Maddie. JuiceBox recommends wearing a Metallic Crown so they know who’s in charge.
