Local notions are the best. Indulge me as we traipse down this path.
Fool Magazine asked 100 chefs and food writers to name the most underrated chefs in the world. I love this question! Check it out and see the answers, the responses may surprise you.
So, of course this begs the question, who is the most underrated chef in our own town? Harcey at Victory 44? DeCamp at La Belle Vie? Josh Habiger and Erik Anderson of Catbird Seat in Nashville think its Doug Flicker. Defining underrated is half the battle but I can't disagree with Josh and Erik since I have been saying the same thing for the last five years. Who do you think deserves mention in this category? What’s your local notion?
