Tucked away in their South Minneapolis studio, the ladies at Paper Rock Scissor are busy assisting brides-to-be of all budgets with save the dates, wedding invites, and personalized favors.
Since opening in 2005, the studio has taken strides to create a comfortable and relaxed environment. This part of the wedding-planning process should be fun, say owners Kate Panke and Erica Marsden—with special focus on helping clients "discover their own uniqueness."
The duo starts with a complimentary one-hour consultation, where clients choose custom designs based on their own inspirations—photographs, magazine clippings, color swatches, you name it—or the non-DIY route: sift through stock vendor invitations from brands such as Spark, b.t. elements, and Envelopments.
Paper Rock Scissor offers stamps, ribbon, paper, and much more for the big day. They also feature printing options such as digital, thermography, letterpress, and offset.
Not gearing up for your trip down the aisle quite yet? No worries. This “studio full of cuteness” offers freelance design, custom invitations, and social occasion stationary for myriad celebrations: birth announcements, party invites, bat and bar mitzvahs, thank you notes, and more.
