Posh Bridal Couture in Wayzata is expanding! Opening yesterday to the public, the new space houses high-end couture bridal dresses.
“The new space is definitely very luxurious,” says Posh owner Marie Suchy. “It’s more like a home than a store.”
But they aren’t giving up their prime western suburb location. In fact, the addition is just right across the hall from the original store and gives off a lavish ambiance with everything—from the walls to the carpet to the furniture—colored ivory.
With the additional 2,900 square feet, the store will be able to accommodate more appointments and provide better service. “We just wanted to make more room. More room for more brides and more dresses,” Suchy says.
Posh’s delve into luxury will give the store a new representation in the bridal industry. The store had previously focused on dresses in the $1,500 to $2,000 range, which Suchy says hindered the store from achieving status in the upscale market. Posh Bridal now carries dresses with price tags up to $18,000.
