As a bride-to-be, you crave a dress-shopping experience that begins as a fun outing for your friends or loved ones and ends with you walking away with "the one." However, many women find themselves facing racks of tiny sample sizes (size 0 or 2, anyone?), cramped dressing rooms, and styles that are just not quite right. With the grand opening of Luxe Bridal Couture on January 4, local brides get their due.
Located within partner boutique Posh Bridal Couture's store in the beautiful Semple Mansion in Minneapolis (take note: It's also a great reception venue), Luxe Bridal Couture caters to curvy women sizes 14-28 seeking a designer gown.
This Saturday, Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the boutique will host a Grand Opening Trunk Show featuring gowns from Essence of Australia, James Clifford and C.c. elaine (Luxe Bridal Couture is the only boutique in the Midwest with access to C.c. elaine's
sassy, creative dresses!). Don't miss this opportunity to view the
new collections and scope out the Twin Cities' newest bridal boutique.
Owner Shayna Clute found her inspiration after working as a wedding planner in New York and watching many brides struggle to find the perfect fit. Beautiful, plus-size gowns are a local trend: along with Luxe Bridal Couture, The Glass Slipper Bridal Salon opened its doors last August in Andover.
The high-end Luxe Bridal Couture doesn't just offer gorgeous dresses, but provides a level of service that will leave you feeling like a queen. Clute and her staff greet customers at the door, offer champagne and treats, and provide style tips and spacious dressing rooms. "We really want to celebrate with the bride," Clute says. "Anything we can do to help make this time special for them, we'll bend over backwards for them."
