When you think of your bachelorette party, you probably don't think of sweatin' it out at the gym. But a new waterless surfing class, dubbed Surfset, may have you rethinking those strippers your future sister-in-law just booked.
Anytime Fitness in Inver Grove Heights is the only gym in Minnesota that offers this new fitness trend and has recently created a bachelorette package for you and your maids. The total body workout engages core and stabilizer muscles to build balance, core strength, and stability on a stimulating surfboard that’s adjustable to all levels, giving you that desirable surfer body without all the waves.
But it's not all work and no play. After the 30-minute session, there's a 30-minute in-studio celebration to toast the bride. “It would be a one-of-a-kind party,” says fitness instructor Erika Carr. “Some bachelorette parties do a pole dancing class and have drinks after. Well, we’re going to bring more of a workout in and have fun, pretend that you’re at the beach, and have some drinks."
To plan your Surfset bachelorette party ($150 for a group of five), contact Erika Carr at email@example.com or 651-587-3211.
