Don't get us wrong, ties are great. But if your groom is craving a bit more individuality on the big day, you two might opt for a different type of neckwear. That's why we're mad for local bow tie boutique The Bow Tie Shoppe.
Started in 2013 by Minneapolitan Renee Larson, each one of her creations is inspired by her love of the '50s and '60s, crafted with vintage fabrics and prints she hand selects. Patterns and fabrics range from cherries to floral, flannel to denim, and if there's a certain color or feel you'd like to achieve with a bow tie, she'll whip up a custom creation.
To meet the needs of a growing buisness, Larson has launched a Kickstarter campaign, hoping to raise $5,000 by Sept. 4. In addition to purchasing new, more efficient equipment with the funds raised, she wants to continue her committment to American-made products by outsourcing production needs locally. thebowtieshoppe.com
