Located in St. Louis Park’s West End shopping complex, Cooper calls itself a “European-style” pub in the English/Irish tradition, but it’s actually a little classier than that. Bars, stained-glass windows, colorful chandeliers, and slightly naughty ceiling frescos, create a warm, congenial atmosphere, and the place has enough differently themed rooms—The Parlor, The Game Room, bar, pub, etc.—that it’s not hard to find just the right combination of chatter and cheer. The food’s pretty good, too.
