Jennifer was raised among sawdust with a family immersed in construction and development and she’s been writing about home and design ever since. A native Californian, Jennifer received a master's degree in journalism from Boston University, fell in love with a New Englander, and then moved to Minneapolis—twice. In addition to working as a senior editor for Mpls.St.Paul, she’s written for national and regional publications including Boston, Sky, and Coastal Living. She lives in Linden Hills with her husband, two kids, and black lab. Last week I stopped in Honeyshine to browse and fell in love with these sturdy little drinking glasses by Roost, a brand that Honeyshine co-owner Daisy Mitchell informed me was started by former Pottery Barn people.
There's a new sign in Linden Hills with a familiar name. Mama's Happy, the occasional shop in Independence opened a six-day-a-week (closed Mondays) outpost in Minneapolis called Mama's Happy...in the City.
Cruise ships are in a position these days to reinvent themselves and Royal Caribbean had the bright idea to enlist an expert celebrity advisory board for the areas of design, sports and fitness, and entertainment.
