Emily Howald Sefton

Emily Howald Sefton

A self-proclaimed wedsessed woman, Emily's love of all things bridal commenced decades before her July 28, 2012 nuptials in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As both the editor of Mpls.St.Paul Weddings magazine and the deputy features editor of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Emily spends her days exploring the ever-changing world of weddings while simultaneously perfecting the art of creating order amid chaos (also known as magazine deadlines). Emily began her career in journalism by wordsmithing her way around Chicago Social and Chicago Social Brides as both a writer and a managing editor. Prior to earning a paycheck, she earned her M.S. from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and her B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. When she’s not busy exploring the nearest shopping venue, the latest workout trend, or the newest "I Do" detail, Emily indulges her appreciation for footwear, fashion, and football. You might catch her raving about the Green Bay Packers (Note: She is not, nor will she ever be, a Vikings fan) or teetering in uncomfortably high heels.
