A Minnesota native and graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, associate editor Andrea Lahouze puts her English Lit degree to work writing and editing Special Sections for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, and's The Fam e-newsletter and blog. She lives in Eden Prairie with her husband, two daughters, and two basset hounds. When she’s not wordsmithing, you can find Andrea volunteering for Secondhand Hounds Animal Rescue, walking her hounds, catching a Twins game with her family, chasing after her daughter at the Minnesota Zoo while babywearing her other daughter, or savoring a chai tea latte. She has also been known to eat all the garlic toasts at Murray’s.
